The food took a long time. The clams were a little gritty. The place could use a makeover, as it's so dark in there when your eating. Overall the food was fair-good. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again, but if I was close by I might.

Poor food Way Overpriced Flank steak sandwich came with "au jus" that was just clear oil obviously poured off top. Also tough and overcooked. Cheesesteak dry. Onion soup tastes like oregano soup. Service slow. Menu confusing. Waitress asked if we wanted curly or regular fries with our sandwiches but did not tell us it was not included. In fact, I asked for a substitute of salad and she said she could do that, but I was charged for salad and husband was charged for fries he chose. Steer clear.

This restaurant is really dark and dirty looking. The staff isn't pleasant nor is the food. They always seem to draw a crowd on the weekends with bands.

We stopped going there because my kids noticed that the water tasted strange or it might've been the ice cubes I was convinced that they were crazy until I took a big swig of my unsweetened iced tea and it tasted metallic. They have a special salad that comes with steak and chicken on it Ordered it many a time and started to order it without the french fries and melted cheese on top because of calorie concerns Asked for a second little cup of salad dressing because of the size of the salad and was charged $.50 extra for the second dressing But I was not given a discount for not ordering the french fries or the cheddar cheese on it still charging the same price what's up with that? Haven't been there in almost 2 years after having gone there probably once a month for five years.

This is a very accommodating bar/restaurant. The wait staff is very friendly. I love the bartenders, Paul & Sandy. Very good people. The atmosphere in the bar area is very open. Non-smoking and pleasant. Great entertainment too with a decent area for bands to set up. In fact this place really packs them in. The food is good. The dinners are pricey. Although I found myself taking plenty food home with a $20 bill. I think the prices should be a bit lower, it's not the "Ritz". I do like the large menu for a local bar fare. There's only a few things I would like to see done differently- Have happy hour specials BEFORE 9 pm Run weekly specials like wing night but please do ALL night, not just from 9pm on. What's that! Serve draft specials cheaper than $5 Change the decor, it's a drab dark bar. Small tv's with nothing really to draw you inside. It's a shame because I really like the bartenders. ( did I repeat myself). They do a good job and never ever let you sit to wait for anything! I think you would enjoy yourself, if you were looking for a home feel bar with some comfort food.

Stanard American fare... The menu selection is def a plus... try the Santa Fe Chicken Salad... it's quite good. One plus is that they tend to prepare the food very quickly there. Everytime I've ordered beer there though, they seem to be out of what I want... I don't think the menu has been updated in some time. Average food, the decor is very dark, somber and very 70's. Needs some updating to say the least. The clientele tends to be of the older/white haired variety, or at least when I've been there. Not much to speak of in terms of 'healthy' options. You can either sit near the bar or in the back/dining area. Def not my first choice to get food in that area.

When we walked through the door, we were ready to run. The greeter blankly stared at us "a beat" too long. The girl then asked us where we'd like to sit, and when we replied, "One of the booths would be nice," she said with big, empty eyes, "We don't have any open." To which we said, "Well, whatever you have then is fine." I think she may have actually asked us out of sheer habit. Then, she took us to a table in what appeared to be a 1970's rec-room (dark wood, limited lighting, and and a lot of "dank") and walked away ... we both broke down laughing ... it was like we encountered some teenage Stepford Wife who was about three-batteries short of a full charge. We opened the plastic-coated menu ... a chaos of colors, fonts, and old-school snacks. I was less than enthused to spend my Saturday night here. Five minutes passed and we became very aware of how empty the place was ... and, then, we became focused as to HOW no one had taken our drink order. It was like the gods had given us an "out." I pleaded with my boyfriend to follow me to the door. He did. And we left nothing but the tire marks of us peeling out of that parking lot. WOW. If you are young and seeking a lovely dinner, do try Bazil or Main Street Grille.

My family's been coming up to ski at Elk Mountain for years now, and stopping at JJ's is obligatory. The staff is attentive and friendly, the prices are great, and the food is pretty good. I wouldn't say it's incredible (looking at you pulled pork), but I've never once been disappointed.

Been here a few times throughout the years when skiing at Elk, most recently this past weekend for a pre-NYE trip. Beer selection is far from great, but does offer a couple craft options on draft. Cocktail list is expansive but I didn't try any, so I can't report on their quality. Similarly, the food menu is quite large and has a variety of options. My dad ordered the ribs, which were gigantic and well-sauced but lacked seasoning (actually don't think they even put salt and pepper, just bbq sauce). I had the grilled veggie salad (nice portion of fresh tasting peppers/artichokes/etc.) and a cup of chili (pretty good + tons of melty cheese). Definitely go for the chili if that's your style! Service was fine for us, as our water glasses stayed full and the waitress was courteous. I remember liking this place in the past and it certainly gets the job done for what it is -- perfectly fine option for late night or pub food at reasonable prices in Clarks Summit.

I've been going to JJs for years. It's the only restaurant in Clarks Summit where I know that i'm going to leave full and happy. The food is good, prices are reasonable, the menu has a great variety, and the service is always great.

Service was subpar, food was horrible. Shrimp app was burned, spinach salad was not that good. Quite pricy too!

Sticky tables and chairs. Unseasoned fajitas with overlooked meat and vegetables. Good service and drinks were fine. Would not choose to go back.

It might look like a dive inside, but the service is great and the food is pretty good. The wings are definitely where it's at!
